I worked out how much timber I needed to build the wardrobe and ordered it.

It was mostly 20mm x 75mm which will be used for the carcass, top, bottom and sides.

Some wider for the skirting at the bottom and plinth at the top.

The door frames worked out that I needed 20mm x 50mm so as to be able to fit the whole thing, in the given space, and keeping the door frames, in proportion to the panels.
