Surround in ash, to house these southern elm doors.
the hinge arangement for these doors, is that there is a 2" dowel, on the hanging side of each door, that pretrudes from the top and bottom, by 2"
Therefore a frame had to be made from ash top and sides, with two 2" holes bored into the floor, with a nylon bush to give the correct clearence, and avoid scraping the floor surface.
There used to be a built in wardrobe here with a wider opening, now it is a grand enterance to a dressing room.
