There are four screen doors with secret hinges so when closed they are an attractive wall. The door to the left of the open one is an airing cupboard, but also houses the cistern.

On the wall to the left just inside the bathroom door is an old victorian front door bell ringer, got from the reclaim yard, and converted into a light switch.
